POET'days
Our adventure started Saturday
15/07/00 at 6 p.m. with Sunbeam who took a ferry from Cagliari
(Sardinia) to Civitavecchia (near Rome) and a train Sunday
16/07/00 from Civitavecchia to Pisa. Here she met Unbreakable
and Mystery coming from Torino and Alessandria by train
and we took a train from Pisa to Lucca where we had a meeting
with Nutelladrop coming from Campobasso by train.
The gig' day started at
07.00 am, we had to step over the gate, cos the hostel was
closed and we arrived to the place of concert PIAZZA SAN
MARTINO at 8 am. We waited and waited "PATIENTLY"
till 10.30 am. At a certain moment Sunbeam saw the POET
saying: "There is Andreas!". Yes, he was! So we
walked to him asking if he was Andreas Johnson and he said:
"Yeah, how are you doing?" we said well and also
we asked for an autograph on our large banner of 5 m where
we wrote ANDREAS THE POET JOHNSON, he signed kneeling on
it and joking a bit saying that it was a bit little. In
the same position Unbreakable asked to him if she could
see his eyes, she took away is glasses and said: "They
are wonderful!"
Than we asked for some autographs on our LIEBLING' books
and for some photos together (we took more photos during
all these minutes) at the end he had to go… and we
said bye.
In the afternoon we met
Jarmo (bass) who had to go with his rollerblade all around
Lucca' Wall. We said that we love their music and asked
if everything was well till that time and he told us yes
and also that he loves Italy, especially Italian wine…
eheheh so Unbreakable asked if he loved beer too…
and he said yes, and than we took some pics with him.
At 4-4.30 pm Sunbeam, Nutelladrop and Mystery met again
Andreas in the place createdf or the band and they took
others pics… Andreas was without t-shirt!!!
At 5.00 pm we have a meeting with Bending Rules that came
form Pisa by train and she and Sunbeam tried to see THE
POET… and yes they saw him and took other pics…
(I think we have 130 pics).
We waited also for Spaceless, but we spoke onlywith her
by cell the day after.
At 5.30 pm we attached our
lage banners on the transennae, at 6 pm we had to start
the big run to have the better place in front of the sage…
and we had it in the center… just in front of Andreas…
We sang all songs with him and he read all banners during
the concert… now we say: "THANK YOU VERY MUCH!"
They sang Breathing/People/Safe from harm/Spaceless/The
games/Should have been me/Honeydrop/This time/So real/Glorious/Spirit
of you, and at the end he said: "thank you very very
much… seeya bye!"
After their super performance we took our banners and went
out… We met Jarmo again who asked us if we enjoied
and he was very very nice with us, especially with Unbreakable…
he promised her a cup of wine, infact after the Cranberries
concert… we met all the band again and he gave the
wine to Unbreakable. They kissed and kissed again and she
asked about the official website, but he told us he never
went to, cos it is the Andreas site. Jarmo asked her to
go to Rome concert, but unluckily she had to work the day
of the concert to Rome and he asked again: "Pls come
to Rome, come to Rome!" but Unbreakable said that she
couldn't and she asked to him if they would make a big concert
in Italy and he said probably next year. Than arrived also
Andreas with a video-camera and he joked a bit with us.
He came near us taking hands and kissing all girls and he
gave his autograph. A boy wanted to take some pics with
him and he had a present for him: A KILO OF PASTA! He joked
again saing: "Yeah, now I have Italian pasta!"…
and this boy continued to kiss him, so Andreas asked if
he was a little gay! ahahahah everybody started to laugh.
At the end he spoke with Unbreakable about the new songs
called THIS TIME, SO REAL and SPIRIT OF YOU, but we knew
this last cos he had sung it at MTV/SONIC in February. This
special passed also on the Radio, Nutelladrop recorded this
little gig and he was very happy about our interest in his
songs. At the end he had to go and we went to their bus,
here Sunbeam continued to take other pics and he go with
his face to her camera, than he spoke with Unbreakable about
the website and he said her he wants to go, cos there are
so many messages but now he is very busy. After other greetings
they started to go to Rome and we started our walk to the
hostel… 40 minutes!! During the walk we started to
think to go to Rome… no… yes… no…yes…
finally Unbreakable said that if she have had other 2 days
of holiday probably we should go to the other concert. We
arrived to the hostel at 2.00 am and naturally it was closed
and we had to step over the gate again.
The day after Unbreakable called her office asking for other
2 days of holiday and they said yes… so the adventures
continue…
Roma Gig 19/07/2000
We took the first train for Rome and we arrived at 1.30
pm.
First of all we asking for the hostel, but it was fully
booked, we hadn't so much money so we needed a very cheap
hotel… and we found an Arab Hotel near the railway
station ROMA TERMINI…. Sigh!!!! In that situation
we had a terrible fright, but when we saw other girls in
that hotel for their holiday we started to calm down ahahah
WE ARE COMPLETELY CRAZY! No problem we are here so nothing
bad is happened!!! We are at home "SAFE FROM HARM"…
Than we bought the ticket and we decided to visit TOR DI
VALLE to be at an advantage the next day for the concert.
In the evening we go to PIAZZA DI SPAGNA and FONTANA DI
TREVI and we took some photos, but we were very very tired…
no more sleep and no more eating… we went to bed at
11 pm creating a barricade behind the door of our room in
that "beautiful" Arab hotel…
The day after we woke up at 7 am and we arrived to Tor Di
Valle at 8 am.… we were practically the first!!!
AGAIN YEAH… Unbreakable is Unbreakable!
We stayed under a very hot Sun… 32° C… till
7 pm and we started the second big run to the stage…
500 m with all our luggage… cos we were without money
and we hadn't booked an hotel for that night!!!! Where should
we have slept???
We arrived in front of the stage but to the left side…
in front of Per (guitar).
At 7.30-8.00 pm we saw Per and we said hallo!!! He was very
happy to see us, he said to Jarmo we were there and he was
happy too… After they took some photos behind the
stage…!!!
The gig starts at 8.30 p.m., when Andreas arrived he gave
us a big kiss… WE DIED!! They sang for us!!!
Andreas indicated to us so many times that other "PEOPLE"
started to asked who were us!!! They dedicated to us "Should
have been me" saing: "for the most beutiful girls
in the world"… and at the end "Spirit of
you" cos we have a banner with written: WE NEED THE
SPIRIT OF YOU… so he said "for our fans who support
us and request this song" they played practically always
in front of us… or indicated… or looked at us…
and we sang all songs together with them…
There was a moment that Per, Jarmo and Andreas were completely
in front of us playing togheter… and all was so exciting!!!

of you… and at the end he said: "thank you very
very much… seeya bye!"
Wonderful… we were very very happy for this big big
present… THANKS TO YOU THAT ARE SO GREAT!
Than we went immediately out from there, we took away the
banners and we search for a bar inside the gig area, we
bought sandwiches and beer… and than we tried to see
them… but nothing!
The organisation was very different from that one in Lucca,
probably they knew and for this reason thay dedicated to
us so much time!!!
We don't know but THANK YOU SO MUCH
A security man drove us to Rome Termini railway station,
but unluckily it was closed. A police man asked us if we
need some help and he talked to the railway police to solve
the problem… they said we could enter the station
only if we had the tickets and we slept like some tramps…
the right words are WE ARE COMPLETELY MAD!
The day after we were at home… sigh!
With crises of abstinance, we want a concert every night…
